The working principle of heat exchangers is mainly to use the principles of conduction, heat transfer and convection to transfer heat energy from one fluid to another fluid. One of the heat exchangers is usually used for heating, transferring heat from a higher temperature fluid to another lower temperature fluid for the purpose of heating. Another heat exchanger is usually used for cooling, transferring heat from a lower temperature fluid to another higher temperature fluid for cooling purposes.
