1. Description:

The BWN-ODN-8 and BWN-ODN-16 are innovative pre-connected optical distribution boxes specifically crafted for outdoor applications. These boxes provide a cost-effective and user-friendly fiber distribution solution, distinguishing themselves from conventional options.

Offered in two sizes—35x19x14 cm and 35x19x16 cm—these Outdoor Multiport Service Terminal (MST) Box closures can support up to 64, 96, or 100 fusion splices, depending on the splice tray used. Each unit is equipped with either a 1×8 or 1×16 PLC splitter and constructed from robust polypropylene, available in a classic black finish with customizable color options.

Each pre-connectorized box features a single oval cable entry point accommodating cables up to 18 mm in diameter, along with two branch cable entries for cables up to 14 mm. Users need to specify the type and diameter of the fiber cable to ensure that appropriate sealing plugs are included, providing a reliable waterproof seal.

Designed to offer 8 or 16 adapter ports, these boxes boast an IP68 protection rating, ensuring they are resistant to moisture, water, dust, and aging. Their thoughtfully engineered design facilitates easy operation and cable routing, with flexible installation options for pole, aerial, or wall mounting.

Beyond applications for Fiber to the Home (FTTH), these boxes are also suited for

Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA) installations and can withstand harsh outdoor conditions. With their array of features and versatility, they present a cost-effective solution for various fiber distribution needs.
