135 Degree Adjustable Glass-to-Glass Standard Model (Factory Set to Standard Closed Position) Hinges are capable of accommodating glass from 5/16" (8mm) to 1/2" (12mm). Six styles provide design flexibility, including three different wall-mount styles and three different glass-to-glass styles. Geneva hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5-degree pivot pin. Custom pivot pins are also available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. Made of solid brass, all moving parts (pin and spring) are made of stainless steel. Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Geneva hinge includes a reversible pivot pin. One side of the pin is marked 90 degrees. The other side is marked 85 degrees. Standard Geneva hinges come with an activated 90-degree side. Offset models come with a pin preset to 85 degrees (5 degrees closes tighter to the interior of the shower). The pin can be rotated (rather than flipped upside down) to activate the other side. Custom Pivot Pins: Custom pivot pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available for "off-angle" installations. If the 5-degree reversible pivot pin in the hinge does not help close the door in the desired position, you can specify the desired angle (up to 45 degrees) for a custom pivot pin. If using a custom pivot pin, please contact our Technical Sales Shower Door Department. Using a custom pivot pin may affect the glass size and casing aesthetics. With two hinges and 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm), the hinge will support up to 80 lbs.
