The basic design requirements of the transmission are

Where the gears with normally meshing gear transmission, its shift mode can be achieved with synchronizer or engagement sleeve. In the same transmission, high gear shift with synchronizer, low gear shift with mesh sleeve.
The gears of normally meshed gear transmission can be shifted by synchronizer or meshing sleeve. In the same transmission, the high gear must be shifted by synchronizer and the low gear by engaging sleeve.
The high gear is arranged in the middle of the support area near the shaft is more reasonable, in this area due to the deformation of the shaft and the gear deflection angle is small, the gears maintain a better meshing state, can improve the gear life.
