Excavator cylinder piston rod seals
Design description:
The seal is generally composed of a rubber O-ring and a PTFE ring. The O-ring is a force application element, which provides sufficient sealing force and compensates the PTFE ring. It is applicable to the sealing of hydraulic cylinder piston rod. The stem seal is a single acting seal, which is divided into stem seal for piston and stem seal for piston rod. Styroseal has the advantages of low friction, no creeping, small starting force, high pressure resistance, simple groove structure, etc.
SRS multi-pieces are used in series to provide
optimum sealing performance for high-speed applications; SRS is also a commonly used cushion
seal that counteracts high frequency pres sure
throughout the seal system and protects the primaryseal.
SRS uses Jiu Long high performance PTFE packing material P4 for superior wear and extrusion resistance
and a wide temperature range and media.
This designalso works with the O-ring elastomer to compensate
for machining tolerances and displacements.
Performance and use
It is composed of a wear-resistant, low friction filled PTFE sliding ring and an O-ring rubber seal. O-ring provides preload, which can compensate the wear of sliding ring. It has a bidirectional sealing effect and is suitable for sealing high pressure and low speed rotary holes in hydraulic equipment. Split groove shall be adopted for the specification with hole diameter less than medium 40.
