ICOM IC-M424G mobile radio features active noise cancellation technology and built-in GPS for easy installation. The clear and intuitive design is user friendly and it has 10W loud audio like a public address and fog horn. Additionally, its built-in GPS receiver displays your current location, date/time, and can be used for DSC calls. The radio repeater built-in DSC watch function monitors Ch. The DSC channel is active even if you are receiving another channel.base radio DSC functions include: Distress, Individual, Group, All Vessels, Emergency, Security, Position Request/Report, and DSC Test Calls.

Icom Universal Marine series user interface is designed for simple, intuitive operation. A rotary selector and directional pad provide quick, easy and convenient access to pre-desired functions. A high-contrast white backlit LCD and laser-cut keyboard complement the design of a modern ship.

Active Noise Cancellation

Built-in Active Noise Cancellation provides outstanding performance. It reduces background noise in received signals by 90% and in transmit signals by 30%.

10W Loud High Volume Audio, Public Address and Fog Horn Speaker

The IC-M424G walkie talkie has a built-in 10 W amplifier that boosts the audio to increase the output to the audio of the external PA speakers. The public address function allows you to broadcast through a microphone like an amplified speaker, or you can emit foghorns from external PA speakers.

Built-in Class D DSC

Built-in DSC watch function to monitor Cch. 70 (DSC channel) activity even if you are receiving another channel. DSC functions include: Danger Encounter, Individual, Group, All Vessels, Emergency, Safety, Position Request/Report, Poll Change Request and DSC Test Call.

Built-in GPS receiver

The built-in GPS receiver displays your current location, date/time, and can be used for DSC calls. GPS data sources can be selected from internal and external GPS.

Optional white backlight command COMMANDMIC mic HM-195 GB/GW

The optional white backlit COommandMMANDMIC ic makes it easy to use the IC-M424G from a separate nacelle or tower building. All functions of IC-M424G can be controlled by ic with COommandMMANDMIC, and can be used as a walkie-talkie together with IC-M424G.

AIS Target Invoke Call with MA-510TR/MA-500TR

When connected to the optional MA-510TR/MA-500TR Class B AIS AIS Transponder, the AIS Destination Call feature allows you to make individual DSC calls without manually entering the MMSI number.
