Reasons and troubleshooting methods for slow walking
The movement of the main valve core of the walking main valve of the excavator is malfunctioning
If the spring inside the walking main valve becomes soft or broken, or the valve core is stuck, it may cause a decrease in oil pressure and lead to walking deviation. During the inspection, the pressure of the oil circuit of the walking main valve should be measured. The normal value is 30.5MPa. If the walking main valve is damaged, it needs to be replaced or repaired. We have encountered a walking deviation of the Daewoo DH220LC-V excavator, and the inspection result is caused by a damaged ring of the walking main valve. When a walking deviation fault occurs, the first consideration should be whether the walking main valve core is damaged.
The walking suction valve on the deflection side of the excavator 2 is damaged
The oil suction valve is installed on the hydraulic cylinder and motor of the working device. Its function is to remove the abnormal high pressure inside the hydraulic cylinder or motor when it is subjected to a huge external impact, thereby protecting the relevant oil pipes and cylinders from damage. If the walking oil suction valve is damaged and the spring inside the valve is soft or broken, the oil pressure inside the walking main valve will decrease, leading to insufficient driving force of the walking motor and causing deviation. Troubleshooting: Repair or replace the oil suction valve.
The tightness of the 3 tracks varies from left to right
If the tension of the left and right tracks is not the same when the excavator is walking, it will also cause deviation during walking. Troubleshooting: Add butter to the loose side to make it tighten the same as the other side.
Performance degradation of four major pumps
When the excavator travels in a straight line, when the plunger of one of the pump flow regulators is stuck in a certain position, or due to severe wear, internal leakage, and system pressure only reaching 29.5MPa, the speed of the walking motor slows down, and the excavator may deviate. Troubleshooting: Remove the hydraulic pump assembly from the excavator, replace the worn parts, repair the regulator, and replace the hydraulic oil and filter element.
The output pressure of the travel proportional valve on the deflection side of the excavator is too low
This proportional valve can output corresponding control oil pressure based on the length of the operating handle control stroke, allowing the main control valve to have corresponding movement, thereby controlling the speed of the working device. If the filter element of the oil filter is not replaced on time, it may cause the filter element to become blocked, causing the bypass valve of the oil filter to open. Dirty hydraulic oil directly enters the circuit of the proportional valve without filtering, causing the slide valve inside the valve to be stuck, and the control oil cannot flow to the rotary main control valve through the rotary proportional valve on the deflection side of the excavator, resulting in walking deviation. At this point, check the pressure of the travel proportional valve (3.3MPa). Troubleshooting: Clean the valve body and front oil circuit, replace the hydraulic oil and filter element.
