The HED4 hydraulic-electric pressure relay is a plunger pressure relay.
Its composition includes: a housing (1), an insert with a plunger (2), a spring (3), an adjustment piece (4) and a switch (5).
The detected pressure acts on the plunger (2), which bears against the spring seat (6) and overcomes the continuously variable force of the spring (3).
The spring seat transmits the movement of the plunger (2) to the switch (5), so that the circuit is turned on or off according to the design requirements.
A mechanical stop protects the relay from overvoltage damage.
