The 4-axis waterjet cutter extends the capabilities of the conventional 3-axis cantilever waterjet cutter by incorporating an additional rotary axis, C. Unlike the Gantry Type Waterjet Cutting Machine, it employs a cantilever structure. Governed by the system, the inclined cutting head adheres to the graphic's normal direction, achieving perpendicular cuts to both upper and lower workpiece surfaces, accommodating positive and negative bevels. It allows for ±5° adjustments in bevel angles and resolves issues related to cutting edge slopes. It enables the creation of mosaic-like patterns in a single operation and delivers seamless cuts, obviating the need for subsequent grinding and ensuring flawless joints.
