IKN's grate plate adopts a narrow and arc-shaped grate gap that crosses the grate plate. The cooling air speed increases from about 1m/s at the inlet of the air chamber to about 40m/s at the outlet. Due to the effect (also known as wall attachment), the high-speed airflow changes direction at the outlet and attaches to the surface of the grate plate, forming a horizontal airflow. Horizontal high-speed air can clean fine powder out of the surface of the grate plate and bring it to the surface of the clinker bed through the gaps between coarse clinker particles, greatly reducing the problem of grate plate leakage and increasing the heat exchange area between the cooling air and the clinker layer, thereby improving the heat recovery rate. At the same time, the horizontal airflow on the surface of the grate plate also has a cooling and protective effect on the grate plate.

IKN Cooler grate plates are used for grate coolers, which are installed in cement kiln to cool the cement clinker.

IKN Cooler grate plates are produced by Vacuum process casting technology craft to ensure high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

IKN Cooler grate plates are heat resistant and abrasion resistant. IKN cooler grate plates of Cr25Ni12 material are recommended to installed at high-temperature stage.

Various sizes and alloy materials of cooler grate plates can be customized according to customers' demands.
