Commonly used linear densities are 150 tex, 300 tex, 600 tex, 900 tex, 1 200 tex, 2 400 tex, 3 600 tex, 4 800 tex, and 9 600 tex. The tolerance of the average linear density relative to the nominal value is:
1. For chopped roving, ±8%, the coefficient of variation of the measured value should not be greater than 6%

- For non-chopped rovings, the cross-over coefficient of the measured value should not be greater than 5%.
