Clay refractory bricks are clay products with AL203 content of 30%~40% aluminum silicate material. Clay refractory bricks are locally sourced, inexpensive, durable, but also fireproof, heat insulation, sound insulation, moisture absorption and other advantages, widely used in civil engineering and construction projects. The mineral composition of clay refractory bricks is mainly kaolinite (AL203-2S02-2H20) and 6% to 7% of impurities (potassium, sodium, calcium, titanium, iron oxides). Clay brick firing process, mainly kaolinite continuous decomposition of water loss to generate mullite (3AL2032S02) crystallization process. Clay brick in the S02 and AL203 in the firing process and impurities to form eutectic low melting point silicate, surrounded by mullite crystals. Clay brick belongs to the weak acid refractory products, can resist the acidic slag and acidic gas erosion, the resistance of alkaline substances is slightly worse. Clay bricks have good thermal properties and are resistant to rapid cooling and heating.
