Introduction 

Anti-forgery Temperature sensitive Pigments is also called Temperature sensitive Pigments or heat-sensitive color-changing pigment. It is a kind of microcapsule-coated powder. It looks like a tinted or white powder with extremely small particles (there are also water emulsion types). It changes with the temperature. Color changes will occur.
There are varieties suitable for application in low, medium and high temperature environmental conditions.

 There are six main types of temperature-changing pigments: (1) Reversible temperature-changing achromatic: that is, there is color below a certain temperature, and it becomes colorless when the temperature rises; (2) Reversible heating and color development: that is, it is colorless below a certain temperature, and becomes colored when the temperature rises; (3) Reversible color development by cooling: colorless above 20 degrees, color when cooling; (4) Irreversible color development: colorless below a certain temperature, color by heating, but irreversible, that is, it cannot return to the state before heating; (5) Irreversible elimination Color: that is, there is color below a certain temperature, and it becomes colorless when the temperature rises, but it is irreversible, that is, it cannot return to the state before the temperature rise; (6) Reversible interval color development, that is, it is colored between 27 degrees and 45 degrees, and below 27 degrees and Above 45 degrees it is colorless.

Using these materials to make inks or coatings can form a variety of products, and when mixed with ordinary inks, they can also be colored. Color-changing materials with different temperatures can be mixed and matched to achieve multi-stage temperature discoloration. Ink coating products made of this material are mainly suitable for Anti-forgery packaging of various types of high-end cigarettes, wine, medicines, beverages, cosmetics, daily necessities, electronic products and other brand-name products. Reversible interval color development

Usage and dosage

Thermochromic pigments can be used to make various solvent-based, UV-based and water-based inks and coatings, and are suitable for direct dispersion or grinding processes. The addition amount generally varies greatly depending on the application, and can range from 5% to 36%; manufacturing water-based inks When applying or coating, our company recommends using temperature-changing water emulsion, which has better compatibility and is not easy to stratify and precipitate.
