When the system pressure exceeds the set value, the safety valve automatically opens and discharges some of the medium to prevent equipment damage or danger caused by excessive system pressure.

What is the valves working principle?

When the pressure inside the system exceeds the set value, the spring of the brass safety valve is compressed, the valve core is lifted, and the medium is discharged from the outlet of the safety valve, thereby reducing the system pressure. When the pressure drops to the safe value, the spring resets, the valve core closes, and the discharge stops.
