The flat plate valve is a valve widely used in industrial fields such as oil and natural gas.

Working principle
Opening process: When the hand wheel is rotated clockwise or the valve stem is moved upward by other operation methods, the valve stem drives the gate to gradually leave the valve seat, the valve opens, and the fluid can flow from the inlet to the outlet of the valve.

Closing process: When the hand wheel is rotated counterclockwise to move the valve stem downward, the valve stem drives the gate to approach the valve seat until the gate fits tightly with the valve seat, the valve is closed, and the flow of the fluid is cut off. During the closing process, the sealing structure plays a key role to ensure that the valve is leak-free.

Regulation function: Some flat plate valves can also adjust the flow of fluid by controlling the opening height of the gate, but generally flat plate valves are mainly used to cut off fluid, and their flow regulation function is relatively weak.

Main advantages
Good sealing performance: Due to its unique sealing structure between the flat plate gate and the valve seat, as well as high-quality sealing materials and advanced processing technology, the flat plate valve can effectively prevent fluid leakage in the closed state, especially suitable for high-pressure, high-viscosity and fluid media containing solid particles.

Easy to operate: With a reasonable stem transmission structure and optimized design, the operating torque of the flat valve is relatively small, and the operator can open and close the valve easily, even under high pressure difference.

Large flow capacity: The inner cavity of the flat valve is usually smooth, without obvious obstacles, and the flow resistance of the fluid in the valve is small, so it has a large flow capacity and can meet the transportation needs of large flow fluids.

Long service life: The main components such as the valve body and valve core are made of high-strength and corrosion-resistant materials, and the sealing components are specially treated with good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Therefore, the flat valve has a long service life and low maintenance cost.
