How is pdlc film made?

The PDLC in the Holographic Projection Screen Film consists of microscopic droplets of liquid crystal, which are suspended in a polymer. In its natural state, without the electrical current, the PDLC in the Magic Glass Film molecules are arranged in a random direction to refract and reflect light away from it, thus giving a frosted look to the SPD Film roll.

Application of intelligent dimming film in greenhouse

PDLC film roll developed by this project is intelligent in that, when the temperature of the Magic glass film roll reaches a certain preset temperature due to sunlight in summer, the dimming film will automatically change from transparent state to fog white state (the adjustment range of scattering light proportion is as high as 55.8%), and direct sunlight will be converted to scattered light. In winter, due to the low temperature, the dimming film is transparent, so that the sunlight can directly enter the greenhouse, without interference to the sunlight. FIG. 2 shows the light situation inside the greenhouse in winter and summer after adopting the Projection Screen Film rollof this project. In winter, direct light is given priority to and transparent; In summer, scattered light is given priority to and fog white state is maintained. This property fits well with the results of the previous study.
