The working principle of the External Feed Drum Filter is mainly to remove suspended solids, particulate matter, colloids and other impurities in water through ultrafiltration or microfiltration technology, thereby achieving the goal of purifying water quality. The core components of fine screening include water pumps, filter media, filters, piping systems, and control systems. The specific work process is as follows:

1. Sewage introduction: The water pump introduces sewage or water to be treated from the outside into the microfilter, and filters it through the filter screen.

2. Filtration process: When sewage passes through the filter screen, impurities and fibrous organic substances larger than the mesh gap are blocked and carried to the other side of the rotating mesh cylinder. The water with a gap smaller than the grid is discharged through the filter screen to achieve purification effect.

3. Sludge discharge: The blocked impurities and fibrous organic substances are discharged into the slag hopper through the unloader, and the treated sewage flows into the discharge tank and is discharged through the drainage outlet.

4. Cleaning mechanism: The External Feed rotary drum screen is also equipped with a special washing device, which cleans the filter screen in a timely manner through the force of rotation and backwash water, keeping the equipment in good working condition.
