SKYSIL SS-952 SILICA POWDER FOR INDUSTRIAL COATING

SS-952 matting agent is a high-end industrial matting agent developed based on surface organic treatment technology. Its performance is

completely comparable to Grace OK520. It is specially designed for coil coatings, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings and high-end industrial

coatings. With excellent compatibility and stability, it helps customers achieve long-term matte protection and cost reduction and efficiency

improvement in harsh environments.

- Accurately replicate the performance of Grace OK520: It adopts a silicone-polymer composite coating process to build a chemical bonding

layer on the surface of nano-silicon dioxide to ensure seamless compatibility with epoxy, polyester, fluorocarbon and other resin systems, and

withstands high-speed roller coating and high-temperature baking (200-260℃) without sedimentation, yellowing or migration; at the same

addition amount (2%-4.5%), the 60° gloss can be accurately adjusted to 5-35GU, and the matting efficiency and leveling are completely

consistent with the measured data of OK520.

- Industrial-grade long-term protection: matte particles and resin matrix form a three-dimensional cross-linked network, giving the coating super

weather resistance (through 3000h QUV accelerated aging), salt spray resistance (≥2000h) and chemical corrosion resistance (10% acid, alkali,

solvent immersion), suitable for high-corrosion scenarios such as offshore platforms and chemical equipment.

- Process friendliness: pre-dispersed slurry can be directly fed, compatible with existing production lines, no need to adjust formulation parameters,

and reduce replacement costs.

Application areas

1. Coil coating: matte topcoat for color-coated plates and galvanized plates, the surface is uniform and defect-free after high-temperature curing;

2. Heavy-duty anti-corrosion: anti-ultraviolet and salt spray corrosion coatings for bridge steel structures, storage tanks, and pipelines;

3. Automotive industry: matte coating for commercial vehicles and engineering machinery, taking into account both stone impact resistance and

wear resistance.
