Dock levelers are a necessary equipment in warehouse loading docks for efficient loading and unloading job. Mostly used dock leveler is fixed type, which need be placed into a concrete pit on the loading dock floor. To install such fixed pit dock leveler, concrete contractor need do the preparation job beforehand. It includes of pouring concrete pits, embedding fixing anchors steel edge and wire tubes. After such concrete job finished, it will be a very easy task to install a dock leveler.

Fixed concrete pit dock levelers consist of several major parts: main platform, front lip, hydraulic motor, cylinder and side protection plate. When activated, hydraulic motor will give force to cylinder and lift up dock leveler platform and front lip one by one. After dock leveler falling down, whole dock leveler will become a bridge connecting with lorry truck floor. Forklifts and pallet trolley will be able to get into truck containers easily.
