The transmission system for walking speed reduction adopts a swashplate axial piston motor and a dual-planetary gear set with a shared ring gear structure, which exhibits a certain degree of novelty. Its characteristic lies in that the pressure of the stamping system in this mechanism can reach high levels, with the motor speed kept within 2200r/min. The dual-planetary gear set offers excellent transmission performance: it eliminates the need for fixed-axis gears, boasts a compact structure, and is suitable for specialized mass production. This contributes to further research on high-performance reducers and enhances product competitiveness. The development direction of modern engineering machinery is to vigorously develop hydraulic excavators. It is the responsibility of Chinese engineers to explore how to design and manufacture higher-performance hydraulic motors to elevate the technological level and competitiveness of China's industry among global peers and play a greater role in China's modernization drive.

Walking motors typically employ high-speed motors combined with planetary gear reducers or cycloidal pinwheel reducers, and the circuit control of the hydraulic motor part has its unique features. The control circuit of the walking motor is shown in Figure 1. The motor is equipped with a high-pressure automatic variable displacement device. When the high-speed transmission is engaged, the circuit connects to the oil port of the manual transmission to supply oil, pushing the transmission to move to the left, resulting in a small displacement of the motor. If the driving resistance increases and the oil pressure of the hydraulic motor (from a hydraulic motor company) rises to the set value, the oil pushes the transmission to move to the right, automatically converting the motor to a large-displacement, low-speed transmission to increase torque. Therefore, this type of motor can automatically shift gears in response to changes in driving resistance.
