Cooler grate plates are used for grate coolers, which are installed in cement kiln to cool the cement clinker.

Cooler grate plates are heat resistant and abrasion resistant. Cooler grate plates are produced by Vacuum process casting technology craft to ensure high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Vacuum process casting is a vacuum sealed casting method, also known as negative pressure casting. This method uses plastic film to seal the sand box, and extracts air from the mold through a vacuum pumping system, forming a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the mold, making the dry sand dense and forming the required mold cavity. The advantages of Vacuum process molding include no use of adhesives, simplified sand treatment for dry sand molding, high recovery rate of old sand, good fluidity of metal liquid, and improved workshop environment. However, it also has some drawbacks, such as complex molding operations, low productivity of small castings, and certain difficulties in mechanized flow production. Vacuum process casting is suitable for medium sized, simple and precise castings, and is widely used in industries such as automobiles, locomotives, and construction machinery. It is favored due to its low solid waste, no pollution, compliance with energy conservation, emission reduction, and clean production requirements.
