material, and if necessary, it can be improved by adding a wettability and dispersibility modifier. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention
to whether there are other factors that cause the transparency of the paint film to decrease, such as modifiers with poor compatibility or poor pigments.
* Usually, the matting agent with organic treatment on the surface will feel better than that without treatment.
* Particle size and particle size distribution. Generally speaking, the finer the particle size of the matting agent, the finer the feel in the paint film. The
narrower the particle size distribution, the fewer large particles, and the better the feel to a certain extent.
Usually, matting agents will stratify and precipitate to a certain extent as the storage time of the paint increases. Products with organic surface treatment will
have better anti-settling performance. Therefore, when designing the formula, we should consider how to avoid the precipitation of matting powder and add
appropriate anti-settling modifiers.
The matting agent surface with organic treatment will improve the surface scratch resistance and wear resistance of the paint film to a certain extent.
