Product Overview:

The YCK-500CH CNC roll crescent milling machine is a specially designed and customized machine tool for the steel industry. Processing scope and requirements: high speed steel roll, carbide roll ring, tungsten carbide composite roll and ordinary roll precision groove processing (crescent groove, equal height rib, etc.), the machine tool automatically cutting different rotation, any spiral Angle of the crescent, can be any equal (or unequal) division or space around the roll; Product specifications, grades, trademarks and other marks can be engraved automatically on any position of the roll.

The comprehensive adoption of advanced CNC technology and machining programming software makes the mechanical structure of the milling machine relatively simplified, reducing some mechanical transmission links, and significantly reducing the maintenance amount while improving reliability, flexibility and high efficiency.

The milling machine adopts SIEMENS 808D 4-axis distributed computer numerical control system, equipped with the seller's professional roll milling machine automation control software and the roll milling machine graphical Chinese operation interface in line with human habits, with the original dynamic simulation function of the milling and measurement process of the roll milling machine.

Crescent groove forming function and milling method:

● Basic crescent groove forming function: The tool bar axis of the flying cutter milling machine and the workpiece (roller) rotary axis form a 90º angle with each other, the tool bar spindle axis is placed at the center of the roll ring groove, and the tool bar head is located on the plane perpendicular to the workpiece axis and the tool bar axis. When the machine tool is working, the tool bar spindle and the roll complete the interpolation rotation movement, and the tool bar axis performs the feed movement toward the center of the workpiece until the tool bar spindle axis reaches the required center of the projection arc of the roll ring groove transverse rib (crescent groove).
