Structural composition

There are two independent gate chambers inside the shell, which respectively accommodate two gate assemblies, and the shell is provided with flanges and bolt holes connected to the wellhead, as well as interfaces for installing hydraulic control systems.
Side door: It is located on both sides of the shell, which is convenient for installation, disassembly and maintenance of the gate assembly and other internal components. The side door is usually tightly connected to the shell by bolts and is equipped with seals to ensure the sealing performance after the side door is closed.
Hydraulic control system: including hydraulic cylinder, piston, hydraulic pipeline, etc. Through the pressure of hydraulic oil, the opening and closing actions of the two gates are driven respectively to realize flexible control of the wellhead. Working principle
Closing process: When the wellhead has overflow, blowout and other dangerous situations, the hydraulic control system injects high-pressure hydraulic oil into the corresponding hydraulic cylinder to push the piston to move, and the piston drives the gate shaft to move the gate toward the center of the wellhead. The two gates move synchronously or separately under the action of hydraulic pressure, and the sealing rubber core on the gate fits tightly with the drill pipe or wellhead casing under pressure, thereby realizing the sealing of the wellhead and preventing the fluid in the well from spraying out.
Opening process: When it is necessary to resume drilling or well repair operations, the hydraulic control system discharges the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic cylinder, and the piston moves in the opposite direction under the action of spring force or other reset devices, driving the gate back to the open position. At this time, the drill pipe can move freely up and down in the wellhead or perform other operations.
