Ultrasonic open channel flowmeter consists of an ultrasonic probe for measuring liquid level and a flow calculation transmitter. According to different structures, it can be divided into integrated and split types. Suitable for measuring the flow rate of rectangular, trapezoidal, and U-shaped open channels in reservoirs, rivers, hydraulic engineering, urban water supply, sewage treatment, farmland irrigation, water management and water resources, etc. Ultrasonic open channel flow meters need to be measured together with weirs and troughs. Commonly used weirs and troughs include Basher troughs, rectangular troughs, triangular weirs, etc. Suitable matching methods can be selected according to different on-site environments.

Ultrasonic open channel flow meters are widely used, mainly in urban water supply and diversion channels; Water diversion and drainage channels for thermal power plants, inflow and discharge channels for sewage treatment, water discharge channels for industrial and mining enterprises, ecological flow discharge channels for hydropower station discharge, water conservancy engineering and agricultural irrigation channels.
