The fully automatic Steel Belt Strapping Machine head is pneumatic tensioning argon arc welding type. The steel belt connection is two argon arc welding points, located in the belt center and arranged parallel to the belt.
The thickness of steel belt is 0.8-1.2mm. The max steel belt tension is 20000N (adjustable), the connection strength accounts for about 85%-95% of the steel belt itself influenced by surface coating of steel belt, carbon content,welding performance, air humidity, etc).
Automatic Steel Coil Packaging Machine is suitable for normal temperature environment and suitable environment for argon arc welding, and applicable objects is various such as galvanized coil, cold rolled coil, steel pipe pile, profile pile, bar pile, sheet pile, aluminum ingot pile, steel ingot pile, pipe pile, wood pile, waste pile,etc.

DGR automatic strapping systems use 5 types of straps:
- Non-buckle geometric point notch closure
- With anti-loosening & non-buckle geometric point notch closure
- Buckle type
- TIG welding (Argon gas)
- PET Straps

The PET strapping heads guarantee a welding efficiency of 95% of the strap breaking load.
