As a kind of temperature sensor, the industrial assembled K-type thermocouple is usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments and electronic regulators. The assembled K-type thermocouple can directly measure the surface temperature of liquid steam and gas media as well as solids ranging from 0°C to 1300°C in various productions.

Thermocouple nominal pressure: generally refers to the static external pressure that the protective tube can withstand and rupture at operating temperature.
Minimum insertion depth of thermocouple: should be no less than 8-10 times the outer diameter of its protective sleeve (except for special products)
Insulation resistance: When the ambient air temperature is 15-35°C and the relative humidity is <80%, the insulation resistance is ≥5 megohms (voltage 100V). Thermocouple with splash-proof junction box, when the relative temperature is 93±3℃, the insulation resistance is ≥0.5 megohm (voltage 100V)
Insulation resistance at high temperatures: When a thermocouple is at high temperature, the insulation resistance (measured per meter) between its hot electrode (including double-branch type) and the protective tube and double-branch hot electrode should be greater than the value specified in the table below.
