Car Switchable Smart Film
Smart Tint film applies to any new or existing smooth glass surface. Easily control our Smart Tint Film from clear to frosted (opaque) with the click of a button or command from your smart phone. Smart Tint PDLC Intelligent Film is private frosted and opaque when powered off and transparent clear when powered on Electric Smart Film consists of two layers of PET-ITO conductive film and the intermediate liquid crystal film. Where in the Car TintingFilm mainly consists of liquid crystal droplets and outer layer of high polymer. When the power is off, the liquid crystal droplets are in disordered arrangement state, when parallel light passes through the polymer and irradiate to the liquid crystal material, because of refractive index of the liquid crystal droplets is lower than the other outer polymers, light in the surface of liquid crystal droplets is diffused and scattered .the whole film becomes opaque, appears frosted. When energized, two PET-ITO conductive film functions as planar electrodes, which makes the liquid crystal droplets orderly arranged perpendicular to the film surface, whereby the parallel light passes through the liquid crystal layer without being reflected and refracted , and light transmits to whole film, andCar Switchable Smart Film appears transparent.

How it Works
Switchable Transparent Glass(STG) consists of float glass, EVA, and Yuguang Smart Transparent Film(STF) that form a kind of laminated glass. The scientific principles lie in the STF, when it is powered off, the liquid crystal molecules fall into a random state,that diffuse light passing through the sandwich structure and to provide instant privacy. When it is powered on, the voltage drive the liquid crystal molecules align along the direction perpendicular to the film, then visible light go through STF and turns transparent.

Switchable Film (SF)
STF is a sort of light modulating material comprised of polymer dispersed liquid crystal and flexible ITO film. When it is powered off, visible light scatters through the STF and the film turns opaque. When it is powered on, visible light transmits the STF and the film turns transparent. STF can be used in SA-STF or STG.

Self-Adhensive Smart Film (SA-STF)

SA-STF is an Intelligent Film which provides a simple and cost effective alternative to Switchable Film technology. It is manufactured with a self-adhesive cling layer on one side (peel and stick) which can directly stick to the existing glass and switch from transparent to opaque instantaneously under voltage.

STG consists of toughened glass, EVA, and STF that form a kind of laminated glass.
