To install the anchor, it must be placed into a pre-drilled hole within the concrete; subsequently, using a setting tool, the anchor expands to secure itself firmly within the hole. This type of anchor is exclusively suitable for solid concrete and should not be utilized with any other base materials.

The available dimensions for drop-in anchors range from M6 to M20, all designed to install flush with the surface. Typically manufactured in five distinct diameters—M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20, and M24—the length of each anchor may vary according to specific requirements.

Installation Instructions

1. Utilize a hammer drill in both hammer and rotation modes to create a hole of the same depth as the length of the drop-in anchor, ensuring that the correct diameter is achieved in the concrete prior to installation.

2. Thoroughly clean the hole using a brush and blow out any dust or debris.

3. A setting tool must be employed during installation into concrete. After inserting the setting tool into the drop-in anchor, strike it with a hammer until the lip of the setting tool aligns with the lip of the anchor.

4. Finally, insert an appropriately sized threaded rod or machine-threaded bolt into the anchor.
