If those through-hole LED cannot work for your application. Please check this 850nm LED 3W SMD LED. This 850nm LED got a high power and strong radiation. It can handle 1A working current in this high power IR LED. High power IR LED can be packaged with different SMD LED case. As we know, the LED will produce extra heating when it's working. High temperature working situation will reduce the lifespan of LED chip and lead to high lighting decay, in order to keep the long life solid state reliability and the radiation, it will be better that we package the high power LED with some SMD LED case that have high performance in heat dispatching.
