Sea Water Basket Filter Element
I. Introduction
Sea water filter element is mostly used in the filtration of seawater and liquid under the similar working condition. Considering to the complicate and corrosive working condition, the filter material is Monel 400 (nickel base alloy) for its good corrosion resistance and chemical stability. Its application greatly improves the service life of filter element in seawater filtration.

IV. Working Principle
The working principle of a basket filter is relatively simple. When fluid passes through the filter cylinder with a certain mesh, solid impurities are blocked within the filter basket, while clean filtrate exits the filter through the outlet. This effectively removes impurities from the fluid and ensures the normal operation of equipment.

VI. Selection Principles

Mesh Size Selection: The selection of mesh size mainly depends on the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted and process requirements. Generally, the smaller the impurity particle size, the higher the required mesh size.
