We can package these UV LED chip into any LED case as your requirement, not just SMD LED, but also through-hole LED. SMD UV LED got a small size and better Heat dissipation performance than the through-hoe LED, but the through-hole LED will more option in view angle than the SMD LED. So you can choose any of them as your need.
